Descendants of Adam Fritzler
Plus Hildermann & Herbert

A Fritzler family may have first settled in Stephan, Russia, but many moved before 1775 to Grimm.  This family group came from Kleingartach, Brackenheim,--------------- Wuerttemberg, Germany in 1765. As of 1798, the Fritzler families are also found in the Volga villages of Dreispitz, Kraft, and Shcherbakovka. Its the census of 1834 that we find Adam Fritzler (1845) and other Fritzler families in Holstein

Irina Siegle, from Osnabrück Germany, wrote by e-mail (Sep 2009), "I came with my parents and brother from Russia to Germany. I married Sergej Siegle in 2000". She provided much more information about the Frizler family which fills in many gaps.  These are added to the Fritzler trees    Color Coded Blue.

Note
Our Grandmother, Katherine Fritzler-Yauk, b.1881 in Holstein, who migrated, with husband and 4 children, to Winnipeg, Canada in 1912, is quite possiably one of the daughters of Adam Fritzler (1845). Proof notes, now have been found and a logical assumption can be made due to the many visits these families have had in the past. We have family photos of many of the above relatives, some located on the Photo page. Her full name was Katherine Elizabeth but was usually called "Katie"
Problems arise from Communist destuction of records after 1857.  KJH

NEW FOUND NOTES - 2009
As further proof of Katiie's (1881) relationship is a note found written by my mother(Kay-Yauk-Hohban 1911) stating  " I had a cousin  Sussana Fritzler Hilderman (1880s) married to Frederich Hilderman who had 2 sons and 5 daughters"  Kay Yauk is shown in photo above with 2nd cousin Hilderman sisters Molly & Susanna.

Further to this, Kay Yauk also wrote that " she also had an uncle Gottfried Fritzler  whose wife was Katherine Kuxhaus Fritzler. They had a daughter Katherine who died young and son Gottfried (Fred)"

(e-mail from Irina Siegle): My grandma told us so:
2 children from Adam Fritzler (1845-?) Gottfried Fritzler and Katharina Elisabeth Fritzler emigrated to America. She was not sure, who went to Canada and who to USA.

No doubt now:  Katherine Fritzler-Yauk, is the daughter of Adam Fritzler

Herber history (Wesley Herber)
"Aunt Susie's Hildermann family and Grandma's Mary Elisabeth Herber family have been very close through the years. Many trips by all the counsins have been taken between Canada and the U.S.A. to visit one another.”

This comment by the Herber historian bares out the fact that these relatives visited OUR Yauk family in Winnipeg of which we have photos between 1920s and 1940s. We also have photos of the Hildermann girls.  KJH
