| Anna Nieszner had two marriages. First to Philip Kaufmann, had three
children, Philip(Filip), Katharina, and Johann, (died young in 1911)
all born Zichydorf. Thier mother Anna remarried after Philip died (1912)
to Johann Muller in 1921, Zichydorf. (Note: this Johann Mueller also has
a relationship to Andrea's Hochban (1846) found in the Peter-1818 Tree).
Two Muller childrem born Zichydorf but one died early.
Anna,age 35, and Johann,age 28, immigrated and arrived at Regina,
Sask. Canada in 03 May 1928, via Bremen/Halifax, ship Derfflinger. Joinging
them were Katharina Kauffmann, age 18, Filip Kaufmann, age 15, and Magdalena
Muller, age 2. An earlier child to the Mullers, Anna, died young in 1923.
They had a third child born in Canada, abt 1929, John, who very interesting
had a double wedding with his sister Lena, in 1947-48. This wedding was
attended by many of the Hochban and Birg relatives who had also immigrated
from Zichydorf to Canada in 1924. Katharina Kaufmann, born 07 Oct
1909, married a Paul Stecker, in North America, and may have had at least
one child. The photos below are Anna Nieszer's kids (1931) and the 1947
double wedding.
The Mullers anglicized their names to Miller.
