Peter
Hochban's Ship:
The Hochbans prepaid their tickets to White Star Ship line in Belgrade, moved by rail to Antwerp then sailed from London May 15, 1924. They arrived in Halifax May 22, 1924. This passenger ship shows what kind of voyage the Hochban family had (Third Class-Steerage). One of the problems I had in locating data for this ship were a couple of name changes between Zeeland II and Northland but was eventially found in Canadian records. |
After their Halifax immigration inspection, its very likely the Hochbans, Peter--wife Magdalena--two children Magdalena (Lena)--Johann (John), also passed through the Grosse-Ile, Quebec, quarantine station and received medical clearance by June 23, 1924. |
